MS2DW12TR is a high-precision digital 3-axis accelerometer IC featuring rich functionality, low power consumption, compact size, and accurate measurements. The chip communicates with microcontrollers via I²C/SPI interfaces, and acceleration data can be retrieved through either interrupt or polling methods. Its INT1 and INT2 interrupt pins support multiple internally auto-detected interrupt signals, making it suitable for various motion detection applications. Interrupt sources include 6D/4D orientation detection, free-fall detection, sleep/wake-up detection, and single/double-tap detection. The chip incorporates a high-precision calibration module to accurately compensate for sensor offset and gain errors. Four selectable full-scale measurement ranges are available — ±2G, ±4G, ±8G, and ±16G — enabling flexible measurement of external acceleration, with an output data rate selectable from 1.56Hz to 4.27kHz. The chip features a built-in self-test function, allowing customers to verify functionality during system testing and eliminating the need for complex turntable testing.
