BMA253-MS

BMA253-MS is a high-precision digital triaxial accelerometer IC featuring rich functionality, low power consumption, compact size, and accurate measurement. The chip communicates with microcontrollers via I²C/SPI interface, with acceleration data accessible through interrupts or polling. The INT1 and INT2 interrupt pins provide multiple internally auto-detected interrupt signals, supporting various motion detection scenarios; interrupt sources include 6D/4D orientation detection, free-fall detection, sleep and wake-up detection, and single/double-tap detection. An integrated high-precision calibration module accurately compensates for sensor offset and gain errors. Four selectable full-scale measurement ranges are available — ±2G, ±4G, ±8G, and ±16G — for flexible external acceleration measurement, with output data rates selectable from 1.56Hz to 4.27kHz. The built-in self-test function allows customers to verify functionality during system testing without complex turntable testing.
