Product Introduction
ULN2001DS is a monolithic high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array containing three independent Darlington driver channels. Internal freewheeling diodes are included for driving inductive loads such as relays. Each Darlington transistor can source up to 100mA at the collector; higher current output can be achieved by connecting multiple channels in parallel. This device is suitable for relay driving, lighting control, display driving (LED), and logic buffering applications.
Each Darlington channel in the ULN2001DS incorporates a 2.7K series base resistor, enabling direct interfacing with TTL/CMOS logic at 5V operating voltage and allowing direct handling of data that would otherwise require standard logic buffers.
In addition, each input stage of the ULN2001DS features a 4K pull-down resistor to ground, preventing false triggering of loads caused by undefined MCU states.
