Product Introduction
TPS56339 is a 3A synchronous buck converter with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 24V. The device integrates two switching MOSFETs, internal loop compensation, and a 5ms internal soft-start function to reduce component count. The SOT-23 (6) package enables high power density with a minimal PCB footprint.
TPS56339 employs Advanced Emulated Current Mode (AECM) control for fixed-frequency fast transient response. The device features internal adaptive loop regulation, eliminating the need for external compensation across a wide output voltage range.
High-side cycle-by-cycle current limiting protects the device under current overload conditions, while low-side pull current limiting prevents current runaway for enhanced protection. Hiccup protection is triggered under undervoltage and thermal shutdown conditions.
