Product Introduction
The TPS22976 product family includes three devices: TPS22976, TPS22976A, and TPS22976N. Each device is a slew-rate-controlled dual-channel load switch. The device contains two N-channel MOSFETs operating over an input voltage range of 0.6V to 5.7V, supporting up to 6A continuous current per channel. Each switch can be independently controlled by an on/off input (ON1 and ON2), which is compatible with direct connection to low-voltage control signals. The TPS22976 features thermal shutdown that turns off the switch when the junction temperature exceeds a threshold, and the switch re-enables once the junction temperature returns to a safe range. In addition, the TPS22976 includes an optional 230Ω on-chip discharge resistor for fast output discharge when the switch is turned off.
The TPS22976 is available in a compact, space-saving 3mm × 2mm 14-SON (DPU) package with an integrated thermal pad for enhanced power dissipation. The device is rated for operation from –40°C to 105°C in a natural convection environment.
