TPAFE51736S8 is an 8-channel, 16-bit, 500 kSPS data acquisition system based on a successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. The TPAFE51736S8 is highly integrated, with each channel featuring an analog front end that includes input overvoltage clamping, 1 MΩ input impedance, a PGA, an active low-pass filter, and an ADC driver. An internal precision low-drift reference and buffer make this device well-suited for compact data acquisition solutions. The digital interface supports communication with various host controllers via an SPI-compatible serial interface and supports daisy-chain connections of multiple devices.

The TPAFE51736S8 can handle true bipolar single-ended ±12.288 V, ±10.24 V, ±6.144 V, ±5.12 V, ±3.072 V, ±2.56 V, unipolar single-ended 0 V – 12.288 V, 0 V – 10.24 V, 0 V – 6.144 V, 0 V – 5.12 V, and true bipolar fully differential ±12.288 V, ±10.24 V, ±6.144 V, ±5.12 V input signals from a single 5 V analog supply. The high 1 MΩ input impedance simplifies analog input design and allows direct connection to sensors. The analog input overvoltage protection enables the device to withstand voltages up to ±30 V. The device offers a simple SPI-compatible serial interface and also supports daisy-chain connections of multiple devices.
