Product Introduction
The TLV760 is an integrated linear voltage regulator capable of operating with input voltages up to 30V. Across the operating temperature range, the TLV760 features a maximum dropout voltage of 1.2V at 100mA full load. The TLV760 is available in a standard 3-pin SOT-23 package.
The TLV760 is offered in 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and 15V versions. The SOT-23 package of the TLV760 series allows the device to be used in space-constrained applications. The TLV760 is a compact replacement for the LM78Lxx series and similar devices.
The TLV760 is used to bias digital and analog circuits in applications subject to power supply transients and spikes up to 30V (e.g., appliance and automation applications). The device features robust internal thermal protection to safeguard itself against potential damage caused by conditions such as ground short circuits, elevated ambient temperatures, high load currents, or high dropout voltage events.
