TLV758P is an adjustable 500mA low dropout (LDO) regulator. The device is available in a compact 6-pin 2mm×2mm WSON package and a 5-pin SOT23 package, featuring ultralow quiescent current while delivering fast line and load transient performance. The TLV758P features an ultralow dropout voltage of 130mV (at 500mA), which helps improve system efficiency.
The TLV758P is optimized for a wide range of applications, supporting an input voltage range of 1.5V to 6.0V and an externally adjustable output range of 0.55V to 5.5V. This low output voltage enables the LDO to power modern microcontrollers with lower core voltages.
The TLV758P remains stable when used with small ceramic output capacitors, supporting a small overall solution size. A precision bandgap and error amplifier provide high accuracy — 0.7% (maximum) at 25°C and 1% (maximum) over temperature (85°C). The device includes integrated thermal shutdown, current limiting, and UVLO protection. The TLV758P incorporates an internal foldback current limit to help reduce power dissipation during short-circuit events.
