Product Introduction
TCM809 and TCM810 are cost-effective system supervisory circuits designed to monitor the supply voltage VDD of digital systems and provide a reset signal to the host processor when necessary. No external components are required.
Under normal conditions, the reset output asserts within 20µs (SOT-23) or 65µs (SC-70) after VDD falls below the reset threshold voltage. After VDD rises above the reset threshold, the reset output remains asserted for a minimum of 140ms. The TCM810 RESET output is active-high, while the TCM809 RESET output is active-low. The TCM809/TCM810 maintain valid output even when VDD drops as low as 1V. These devices are available in 3-pin SOT-23B and SC-70 packages.
The TCM809/TCM810 are optimized to suppress fast transient glitches on the VDD supply rail. A low supply current of 9μA (typical at VDD = 3.3V) makes these devices well-suited for battery-powered applications.
