SS495A

The SS495A is a monolithic programmable Hall-effect linear sensor manufactured using an advanced BCD process. It integrates a high-sensitivity Hall sensor, a high-precision Hall temperature compensation unit, a Hall signal preamplifier, an oscillator, a dynamic offset cancellation circuit, and an amplifier output module, providing customers with an efficient AC/DC current sensing solution for communications, industrial, and consumer electronics applications. The sensor employs overcurrent-protected high-bandwidth dynamic offset cancellation technology; in the absence of a magnetic field, the quiescent output is selectable as either 50% Vcc or a fixed 2.5V. The integrated dynamic offset cancellation circuit ensures that the chip's sensitivity is unaffected by external mechanical stress and package stress. The output voltage of the SS495A is proportional to the applied magnetic field strength. Users can program the sensitivity and quiescent (zero-field) output voltage via the supply pin to optimize performance in the end application. The quiescent output voltage is adjustable over a range of 2.5 V ± 0.2 V or 50% Vcc, and the output sensitivity is adjustable from 1.66 to 29.3 mV/Gs.
