Product Introduction
The SN74HCT244-Q1 is an octal buffer and line driver with 3-state outputs. This octal buffer and line driver is specifically designed to improve the performance and density of 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. The HCT244 device is configured as two 4-bit buffers/drivers with separate output enable (OE) inputs. When OE is low, the device passes non-inverting data from the A inputs to the Y outputs. When OE is high, the outputs are in a high-impedance state. For all available packages, see the Orderable Addendum at the end of the datasheet.
