Product Introduction
PCF8563 is a low-power CMOS real-time clock/calendar IC featuring programmable clock output, interrupt output, and low-voltage detection. All addresses and data are transferred serially via a two-wire bidirectional I2C bus at a maximum rate of 400 kbps. The register address auto-increments after each read/write data byte.

- Low standby current; typical 0.25μA (VDD = 3.0V, Tamb = 25°C)
- 400kHz two-wire I2C bus interface (VDD = 1.8 - 5.5V)
- Programmable clock output (32.768kHz, 1.024kHz, 32Hz, and 1Hz)
