Product Introduction
The NMUX1308-Q100 is a general-purpose CMOS bidirectional 8-channel analog switch operating from 1.5 V to 5.5 V. The device is dual-source compatible with existing 4851 and 4051 devices. The NMUX1308-Q100 features extended digital logic thresholds for compatibility with 1.8 V systems without voltage translation. Analog signal pins include one common input/output (Z) and eight individual input/outputs (Y0 through Y7). All analog signal pins are bidirectional and support voltages from GND to VCC. All analog signal pins integrate injection current control circuitry. This control circuitry isolates overvoltage transients on unconnected analog signal pins from the connected analog signal path, maintaining measurement accuracy. Additionally, this integrated design eliminates the need for external overvoltage clamping components such as resistor-diode networks. Four control signal pins are provided (S0, S1, S2, and E̅). S0, S1, and S2 select the analog channel connected between Z and Yn. E̅ overrides S0, S1, and S2 to disconnect all analog channels. The control signal pins support 1.8 V logic thresholds across all operating voltages. Furthermore, these pins are 5.5 V tolerant, supporting operating voltages up to 5.5 V regardless of supply voltage. This product is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified for automotive applications.
