Product Introduction
This is a fast recovery epitaxial diode (FRED) module available in models such as MEA 250-12 DA, MEK 250-12 DA, and MEE 250-12 DA. The repetitive peak reverse voltage VRRM is 1200V, the average forward current IFAVM is 260A, and the reverse recovery time trr is 450ns. The IFAVM rating includes reverse blocking losses at junction temperature TVJM, reverse voltage VR = 0.6VRRM, and duty cycle d = 0.5. Data is based on IEC 60747. IXYS reserves the right to change limits, test conditions, and dimensions.
