Product Introduction
LMR50410 is an easy-to-use wide input voltage synchronous buck converter capable of driving load currents up to 1A. The device features a wide input range of 4V to 36V, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications requiring power regulation from unregulated sources.
The LMR50410 operates at a switching frequency of 700kHz, enabling the use of relatively small inductors for an optimized solution size. It is available in a PFM version for high efficiency at light loads and an FPWM version for constant frequency operation with low output voltage ripple across the full load range. Soft-start and compensation circuitry are implemented internally, minimizing the number of external components required.
The device features built-in protection functions, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting, hiccup mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown under excessive power dissipation conditions. The LMR50410 is available in a SOT-23-6 package.
