The LM4871-MS is a single-channel Class AB differential-input audio power amplifier capable of delivering 2.8W output power at a 5.0V supply, 10% THD+N, and 3Ω load. Its differential input architecture provides enhanced noise rejection. The application circuit is straightforward, requiring minimal external components to achieve high-quality, low-distortion audio output. The device features a shutdown function for significantly extended system standby time, built-in thermal protection for improved system reliability, and power-on POP suppression for a better listening experience and simplified system debugging. Available in an SOP8 package.
