- The I2C communication interface consists of slave address bit DC, I2C bus data signal SDA (output: SDAOUT/D2, input: SDAIN/D1), and I2C bus clock signal SCL (D0). Both data and clock signals must be connected to pull-up resistors.

- Slave Address Bit (SA0): The slave address must be identified before any data is transmitted or received over the I2C bus. The device will respond to the slave address following the slave address bit ("SA0" bit) and the read/write select bit ("R/W#" bit), with the byte format as follows:

- The "SA0" bit provides an extension bit for the slave address. Either "0111100" or "0111101" can be selected as the OLED slave address. The D/C# pin serves as SA0 for slave address selection. - If unexpected noise appears in the display window during operation, reset the display to restore normal display functionality.
