Product Introduction
This digital thermometer provides 9 to 12-bit resolution temperature measurements, with programmable nonvolatile memory cells for setting upper and lower temperature alarm thresholds. It communicates via a 1-Wire protocol, requiring only a single signal line and a ground line. The temperature measurement range is -55°C to +125°C (-67°F to +257°F). Accuracy within the -10°C to 70°C range can reach ±0.4°C. It also supports parasite power mode, drawing power directly from the signal line without requiring an external power supply. Each device features a unique 64-bit serial number, enabling multiple devices to be networked on the same 1-Wire bus, with a single processor capable of controlling widely distributed temperature sensing nodes. This networking approach is particularly well-suited for HVAC environmental control, building and equipment temperature monitoring, grain storage temperature monitoring, and industrial process monitoring and control.
