Product Introduction
D3815C-TD is a step-down constant current source operating in continuous inductor current conduction mode, designed to drive one or more series-connected LEDs. It accepts an input voltage range of 8V to 40V with adjustable output current up to 1.2A. Depending on the input voltage and external components, the device can drive LEDs up to tens of watts. The D3815C-TD integrates a power switch and employs high-side current sensing to set the average LED current. Analog dimming and wide-range PWM dimming are supported via the DIM pin. When the DIM pin voltage falls below 0.3V, the power switch turns off and the device enters standby mode with an ultra-low quiescent current (typically 60μA). The device is available in SOT89-5 and SOT23-5 packages.
