Product Introduction
The ADuM7640/ADuM7641/ADuM7642/ADuM7643 are 6-channel digital isolators based on iCoupler technology. These 1 kV digital isolation devices are available in a compact 20-lead QSOP package. When only functional isolation is required, these devices offer space savings and lower cost compared to 2.5 kV or 5 kV isolation solutions.
This product family operates from a 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply voltage and features ultralow power consumption — one-sixth to one-tenth that of other digital isolators. In addition, the ADuM7640/ADuM7641/ADuM7642/ADuM7643 provide low pulse width distortion (less than 6 ns for Grade C) and per-channel glitch filters to protect devices from external noise. Four channel direction configurations support maximum data rates of 1 Mbps or 25 Mbps. In the absence of input power, the default output of all models is a logic high state.
