Product Introduction
The ADA4700-1 is a high voltage, precision, single-channel op amp with a wide supply voltage range (±5 V to ±50 V) and relatively high output drive current. Its advanced design combines low power consumption (170 mW at ±50 V supply), high bandwidth (3.5 MHz), unity-gain stable high slew rate, and no phase reversal. Additionally, its near rail-to-rail output swing capability enables designers to achieve maximum SNR.
The ADA4700-1 is designed for applications requiring both AC and DC precision performance, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including high voltage test equipment and instrumentation, high voltage regulators and power amplifiers, power supply control and protection, as well as use as an amplifier or buffer for sensors with wide output ranges. It is ideally suited for high-intensity LED testing applications, offering highly accurate voltage and current feedback and a pre-driver to provide precise voltage and/or current source excitation for the LED string under test.
The ADA4700-1 is rated for the -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range, with thermal regulation and integrated current limiting at junction temperatures above 145°C. The ADA4700-1 is available in a thermally enhanced 8-lead SOIC package with an exposed pad.
